Our goal is to provide the highest quality t-shirts featuring the coolest designs possible while providing the best customer service around. We know that there are approximately three and a half million t-shirt sites out there (give or take) and we want to make sure that the overall Geek Bouteek experience is so enjoyable, and the t-shirts rock so hard, that you can't help but come back.
The Backstory
Based in NYC, the Geek Bouteek is the brainchild of a husband and wife (and their precocious son) who were looking for a more productive outlet for their creative impulses. The corporate thing just wasn't cutting it and there was an overwhelming feeling that the fabric walls were slowly closing in.
So we sat down to come up with something better, something we could call our own. In the end, we decided to design and sell awesome-tastic geeky t-shirts.
Because, you see, we're old-school geeks ourselves, big into games and computers and comics and movies, all of the essential stuff. We wrote our first code on the Commodore 64 and cut our teeth on the Intellivison, but that doesn't mean we still can't pwn some n00bs in Call of Duty 4.
So after many fits and starts, through endless brainstorming sessions and numerous late nights, the Bouteek finally opened for business in December 2007, without much fanfare, but with several notebooks full of ideas and a whole lot of ambition.
We know we're small right now, but we have big dreams and big ideas and we hope to be serving up really cool shirts for a good long while.
